A SIMPLE APPROACH TO PROVIDING THE BEST IN DINING AND NIGHTLIFE

The Rosebud Restaurant Group is proud to announce the return of Centro Ristorante, the legendary 1990's hotspot and the newest addition to the River North neighborhood. Rosebud founder and patriarch Alex Dana and Joe Farina, one of Chicago's most prolific Italian-American chefs, will redefine the social dining experience. Blending the traditional charm Rosebud is famous for with neoclassic Italian cuisine and vibrant atmosphere, Centro is back to claim its title as one of Chicago's most iconic restaurants.

"Our focus will be the food and the sharing of an authentic dining experience", Chef Farina said. "Centro is a place with an easy-going supper-club vibe, where people can gather, entertain, and socialize over a great meal. We want to provide an impeccable and lively dining event for our guests."

In addition to Rosebud's groundbreaking signature items, such as cavatelli al forno and the square noodles, Chef Farina is also cooking up some new innovation for the table. These include meatballs in white bean-escarole sauce, fettuccine alfredo with Alaskan king crab, an assortment of Milanese chops to cover the plate, and many more original dishes.

Patrons of the original will recognize the communal copper serving dishes in which Chef Joe's hearty portions arrive. From the double boned Colorado lamb chops and 46oz. T-bone for two, to the opulent cold-water lobster and heaping mounds of fusilli arrabbiata, sharing lies at the heart of what Centro is about.

But if Centro has one foot planted in its historic past, the rest of it is moving steadily forward. Its choice location is enhanced by the elegant ambiance and modern design of the space. Centro will also fill another neighborhood void: lunch will be served daily, with breakfast and brunch to be introduced in the near future. In addition, a late-night bar menu will be available until 1:30 a.m. Centro will also feature a "Salami Society" program, offering various artisanal salamis from around the world.
